Work
From running a wine importer to consulting in travel and healthcare, I’ve worked on both the commercial decisions and the technology needed to make them happen. Here are a few examples.
Running a wine business gave me a very practical reason to rethink how things worked. At Sip, I built services to handle orders, admin and operations so we could spend more time with customers and growing the business. That work became Conducta, developed within Sip.
I built Conducta within Sip to handle the work behind running a wholesale business: taking orders, organising deliveries, managing stock and keeping on top of invoices. It brings together my experience in product development and the realities of running a wine importer.
Website consulting for a wine importer, bringing together my experience in digital products and the wine trade. My ODEG work with Flint focused on its website; Flint’s use of Conducta is through Sip.
Working through the admin behind a travel business, including how supplier invoices are processed and matched. My consulting with ASA combined a review of its operations with putting automation into practice, using Conducta for the invoice workflow.
Helping a specialist healthcare business work through its systems and day-to-day processes. The focus was on how work moved through the business, where technology could help and how to put changes into practice, including workflows using Conducta.

I’m Dan Blatchford. I’ve spent more than 15 years in technology and product management, and I’m co-founder and CEO of Sip Champagnes. Running Sip has meant making the same decisions my clients face: what to invest in, what to fix first and how to make it happen with the time and money available.
ODEG is where I offer that experience to other businesses. You work directly with me, from talking through the problem to putting the solution into use. I can help shape a product, work through an operational challenge or get more from the systems you already have.
I also built Conducta within Sip. Sip Champagnes Ltd owns and operates the platform and owns its IP. ODEG provides consulting; clients including ASA and Spine have also trialled Conducta free of charge alongside that work.
